Solent Tools Ltd has been a leader in the imported power tool and garden machinery spares & accessories industry since its establishment in 2007. Boasting a team with experience of over 30 years, our commitment extends beyond merely offering spare parts. We provide invaluable help, technical insights, and advice about DIY & Professional tools.
We are based in Southampton (UK) and hold most of our stock of spares and accessories in our store. We post everything out across the UK, but if you prefer you can come in and collect the product you require. If you are unsure of what part your tool needs we are able to advise by email and over the phone (to a limitation). If you bring your tool in we can look at it, identify the correct part and even repair it for you (you may need to book it in and leave it with us).
As specialists in spare parts and accessories for a wide range of petrol and electric power tools and garden machinery, we hold accounts with major brands so that we are able to order in any available part. These brands include Black and Decker, Bosch, DeWalt, Draper, Flymo, Makita And Mountfield.
We do not list every part for these on our website, but if there is a specific part you require for one of these brands please contact us by email sales@solenttools.co.uk and we can order the part in for you (depending on the manufacturers availability).

That’s where Solent Tools lead the UK in sourcing and supplying compatible spare parts for these brands.
Parts that are economically and financially worth while replacing such as Carbon Brushes, Drive Belts, Garden Vac Bags, Blades, Switches, Spools are the parts we specialise in and to an equal or higher standard of the original part. On a practical and financial level we are unable to supply parts such as Batteries, Chargers, Motors, Armatures, Field Coils and Gearing.
We are proud to be an authorised UK distributor for ASEIN. Manufactured in Spain, ASEIN’s extensive range of Carbon Brushes are of the highest quality and we are able to offer competitive pricing to account customers.
We stock hundreds of different types and styles of brush for both AC and DC motors and if we do not have the correct brushes on the shelf we can get almost any brush made with a minimum order quantity of 2 brushes and trade discounts on large quantity orders.
